4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 5/26/17

Ryan Zimmerman is one of four guys you can avoid in MLB DFS tonight. Who else should be left off your rosters?

A bunch of aces, a game at Coors Field, and 30 teams in action will make for a terrific DFS night!

Mighty Max Scherzer ($11,800) gets a dream matchup against the San Diego Padres, making him the top pitching play, hands down. The conundrum is whether you pay up for him or save some cash for Coors bats. We have Alex Wood ($8,600) as a viable cost-saving measure, although he has a tough matchup against the Chicago Cubs. Decisions, decisions.

It's a difficult call and one that may come down to whether or not value plays emerge as lineups are announced.

Outside of Scherzer and Wood, we have plenty of worthy pivots. Jacob deGrom ($11,000) makes an appearance against the Pittsburgh Pirates after getting scratched yesterday. Chris Archer ($10,600) and Jake Arrieta ($9,600) have some tournament appeal but face tricky offenses in the Minnesota Twins and Los Angeles Dodgers, respectively. Cheaper GPP flyers that can help you fit in Coors include Eduardo Rodriguez ($8,700), Mike Clevinger ($7,800) and Zack Godley ($6,400).

Regarding Coors, the St. Louis Cardinals bats against Antonio Senzatela are your main targets, with Carlos Martinez limiting the appeal of the Colorado Rockies.

All right, time to end the week on a high note! Here are four guys to fade this evening.
