6 Players Who Are Tough to Trust in Week 16

Matt Forte, RB, Chicago Bears

I hate to say this, as I have him going in one of my championship match-ups this week, but I don't believe Matt Forte is a player you can totally rely on this week. Forte himself has been the fourth-best running back in standard scoring -- and has occasionally vied for higher spots than that -- but at this point in the season, it is quite clear that the Bears have completely given up (see Clausen, Jimmy). Without Jay Cutler's physical arm ability that will make a defense sit deep (even if they're just waiting for a fly ball to intercept), Forte will have significantly less room to maneuver on Sunday if and when the Lions decide to stack the box against the run.

Remember, the Lions are the best defensive unit in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP in the NFL this season, so I fully expect this to be a diminished game for Forte. Don't bench him, of course (he's our fourth-ranked running back on the week), but plan your lineup around the fact that he's not a lock for 20 points in Week 16.
