4. Robert Mathis, Ageless Wonder

Win Probability Added: +16.31
NEP: +7.66

Everyone was drooling over Dwight Freeney's career resurgence in 2015, but we may be seeing a similar sort of renaissance in 2016 with Indianapolis Colts outside linebacker Robert Mathis. Mathis earned has just one sack on the year, but he is consistently pressuring the opposing quarterback in a way he hasn’t in years. As they say, pressure is production; Mathis is still bringing that in droves.

Are we sure he’s 36 this year? Mathis looked as spry as ever on this play, when Indy defensive lineman T.Y. McGill wrenched Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota to the ground inside Tennessee’s own red zone. Mariota lost control of the football and the ever-aware Mathis scooped up the bouncing ball. He’s definitely up there on the “Dad Runner” scale these days, but Mathis still beat the Titans’ linemen in the footrace to the end zone. With under two minutes to play, the Colts went up by 10 and held on to the lead the rest of the way.
