New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills

Over/Under: 49.0

Implied Team Total: 28.25

Implied Team Total: 20.75

The New England Patriots (9-2) have shaken off a slow start and are currently riding a seven-game winning streak. The Buffalo Bills (6-5) have had a strange season but remain firmly in playoff contention. This divisional matchup features the highest over/under on the slate, and should prove useful for fantasy purposes. The Patriots have scored 30-plus points in 10 of their last 14 meetings with their rivals, and more of the same could be in store this weekend.

Dion Lewis, RB, New England Patriots

FanDuel Price: $6,300

It's long-past time to talk about how fantastic Dion Lewis has been for the Patriots in recent weeks. The team's leading rusher (by 143 yards) is averaging 5.1 yards per carry on the season, has seen double-digit carries in six straight contests, and logged the first 100-yard rushing day of his career in Week 12. The Pats' backfield has become a two-man show featuring Lewis and Burkhead, while Mike Gillislee has been a healthy scratch and James White's snap share has been scaled back significantly.

Prior to facing the struggling Kansas City Chiefs, the Bills defense was getting obliterated by opposing offenses. Check out these stats from Weeks 5 to 11:

Lewis has a terrific match-up against a defense that is allowing the third-most FanDuel points (24.4) to opposing rushers and can be started for RB16 cost. Oh, and the Patriots have the highest implied team total on the slate as 7.5-point favorites. This is a premium set-up for fantasy success.

Brandin Cooks, WR, New England Patriots

FanDuel Price: $7,600

If you're a regular reader, you know I'm an ardent Brandin Cooks backer. The electric wideout has shed his "boom or bust" label and morphed into one of fantasy's most reliable WR1's in his first season as a Patriots -- and that doesn't appear ready to change any time soon. Indeed, Cooks has seen 8 or more targets in all but one contest during the Patriots' seven-game winning streak and has found the end zone in three of his last five.

Cooks has secured 12 receptions for 232 yards and 2 touchdowns over his last two games and appears ready to build on those numbers in Week 13. Could a potential Chris Hogan return lead to a reduction in Cook' targets? Certainly, but it's clear the former New Orleans star has developed fantastic chemistry with Tom Brady, and there's little reason to expect a discernible drop-off in production.

The Pats are rolling right now and Cooks can be started for WR6 cost. It's not exactly an inexpensive transaction, but for one of the hottest wideouts in the game, it's a worthwhile investment.

Others to Consider

Tom Brady ($9,300) has thrown 10 touchdown passes in his last three starts and his quarterback rating has exceeded 114.0 in four of his last five. It's incredible that he's been able to sustain this level of success for so long. In spite of his obscenely expensive price tag, he will be in plenty of lineups this weekend.

Rob Gronkowski ($8,100) has found the end zone 7 times in his last nine contests and notched his second multi-score game of the season last week against the Miami Dolphins. A touchdown or 2 is almost an expected outcome against a Bills team he's dominated in the past.

Zay Jones ($4,500) has quietly surpassed 50 receiving yards or scored a touchdown in each of his last three contests. With Kelvin Benjamin sidelined with a torn meniscus, Jones becomes the team's de facto number one wide receiver. In a game where the Bills will have to throw more than usual to keep up, he could be a veritable steal and allow you to start stud players like the aforementioned Brady and Gronkowski.

LeSean McCoy ($8,200) disappointed last week against the Chiefs, but could bounce back against a Patriots run defense that is far from impenetrable. It has often been his receiving prowess that has kept him productive this season, and if the Bills are playing catch-up as expected, McCoy should see his fair share of targets.
