Philadelphia Eagles vs. Seattle Seahawks

Over/Under: 47.0

Eagles Implied Team Total: 26.00

Seahawks Implied Team Total: 21.00

The Philadelphia Eagles (10-1) are riding a nine-game winning streak and currently look like the best team in football. The Seattle Seahawks (7-4) have had an injury-riddled, up-and-down season, but remain firmly in contention because of the brilliant play of Russell Wilson. This Sunday night tilt has game of the week potential, and with a 47-point over/under, could feature quite a bit of scoring. When two playoff-caliber teams featuring two of the hottest quarterbacks in the game meet up in prime time, special things can happen.

Carson Wentz, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

FanDuel Price: $8,000

If the 2017 NFL season ended today, it's quite likely Carson Wentz would be named league MVP. The sophomore signal caller has been sensational and currently leads the league with 28 touchdown passes across 11 starts. The former North Dakota State Bison star has thrown multiple touchdowns in all but two contests this season and has tossed 3 or more scores in five of his last seven. Without question, Wentz has proven to be one of the game's elite quarterbacks and is only getting better with time.

While his matchup against the Seahawks isn't a cakewalk, the Eagles have the third-highest (tied) implied total on the slate, and Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor will be sidelined for the remainder of the season. The 'Hawks have been solid against the pass, but that was also true of the Chicago Bears until they faced Wentz:

Pretty impressive, and just the latest in a long line of incredible performances. Wentz can be started for QB5 cost this week but has QB1 upside any time he steps onto the field. Until he slows down, continue to ride this train.

Alshon Jeffery, WR, Philadelphia Eagles

FanDuel Price: $7,300

Alshon Jeffery had a bit of a slow start in 2017, but he's turned up the heat recently, snagging 5 touchdowns over his last five contests. Week over week, it's become clear that his connection with Wentz is blossoming, and the free agent acquisition is starting to pay dividends for his new team. While his yardage totals have remained modest -- he has yet to surpass 100 yards in a game -- his touchdown upside makes him a near must-start option in all formats.

The Seahawks have only allowed 25.8 FanDuel points per contest to opposing wideouts, but with Sherman and Chancellor sidelined and Wentz playing at such a high level, Jeffery is well worth the risk. The fact that he can be started for WR11 cost makes him a potential value if he continues to demonstrate his touchdown-scoring proficiency.

Others to Consider

Zach Ertz ($7,500) became the first Eagle to break 100 receiving yards in a game last week and is a top-notch tight end start every week. Unfortunately, his TE2 price tag is top-notch as well, so there's not a ton of value to be enjoyed.

As stated earlier, Russell Wilson ($8,200) is playing at an insanely high level, at times single-handedly carrying his team to victory. Need proof? Wilson has either passed or rushed for 82.5% of the Seahawks' scrimmage yards and 26 of the team's 27 offensive touchdowns this year. At QB2 cost, he isn't cheap, but there is no player in the league more pivotal to his team's success than Wilson.

Jimmy Graham ($6,700) has scored all of his NFL tight end-leading 8 touchdowns over his last six contests, but for some reason, he can still be started for TE5 cost on FanDuel. The Eagles are a middle-of-the-pack matchup, but it's hard not to consider him when he and Wilson are on such a roll.
