Willie Snead, WR, New Orleans Saints

Yahoo Ownership Percentage: 39%

It's hard to think of a more disappointing fantasy football season than the one owners are getting from Willie Snead. Snead was drafted, on average, as the 35th wide receiver coming off draft boards despite having a three-game suspension to start the season.

And while late seventh-round picks don't typically make or break your squad, owners were certainly expecting more out of Snead than they've gotten. Upon serving his three-game suspension, he was deemed inactive for one more game with a hamstring injury, then made his disappointing season debut in Week 6 before following that up with another surprise inactive status in Week 7.

Those with zen-like patience have still not been rewarded since he returned in Week 8, as he hasn't received a single target in the passing game in the two games since his return.

Head coach Sean Payton could very well mean it when he says the team will rely on Snead more down the stretch. If that were true, he could be a difference maker, but the New Orleans Saints don't even appear to be trying to integrate him into the passing game yet.

For teams that are in the driver's seat for a playoff spot, holding onto Snead could still be worthwhile. If you're clawing to get into the playoffs, though, Snead is hurting your squad more than helping it. Drop him for a player like Marquise Goodwin, who seems to be inheriting a large target share with Pierre Garcon now on Injured Reserve.
