Week 4 NFL FanDuel Salary Movers
Running Back
Chris Carson, Seattle Seahawks
Week 3 Salary: $6,000
Week 4 Salary: $6,600
Chris Carson has seen his price rise $1,400 over the past two weeks, but that really shouldn't come as much of a surprise given his role in the Seattle Seahawks offense. Seattle has narrowed what at one point appeared to be a four-headed backfield down to just Carson and C.J. Prosise over the past few weeks, as the two backs have accounted for 86.8% of the team's offensive snaps.
With Prosise out this week, the backfield will presumably be nearly all Carson's. That is a very exciting proposition considering the game script and matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. He is a strong play in all formats.
Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals
Week 3 Salary: $5,100
Week 4 Salary: $5,600
We don't need to waste too much time on this one. Even with a $500 price increase, Joe Mixon is a free square. While his price rose $1,200 on DraftKings, where he is the 12th-most expensive back, he comes in as just the 30th-highest priced running back on FanDuel. He's priced behind Kerwynn Williams. I repeat, he's priced behind Kerwynn Williams.
Unlike Williams, who saw one snap last week, Mixon saw a clear upgrade in his role. As a favorite in a matchup against the Cleveland Browns, it is hard to justify a Mixon fade at this price.
