NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Tuesday 3/29/22

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at two players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Wenyen Gabriel, PF, Los Angeles Lakers ($3,500)

The Los Angeles Lakers have a ton of injury issues tonight, which opens up plenty of value.

LeBron James is listed as doubtful, and Anthony Davis, who has been out for several weeks, is also doubtful. Technically, it's an upgrade for Davis' injury status but regardless -- it still puts the Lakers in a spot where they have a ton of value options to consider.

Wenyen Gabriel has been in the starting lineup in each of the last three games and should be there tonight against the Dallas Mavericks. The game holds a 219.5-point over/under and an 11.5-point spread in favor of Dallas.

When both James and Davis are off the court for the Lakers, Gabriel is holding a modest 19.1% usage rate but is producing a solid 1.01 FanDuel points per minute. He's seen at least 29 minutes in two out of the last three games, and that's right where he's projected tonight, per our model, set to go for 28.16 minutes and 26.4 FanDuel points, making him the top overall point-per-dollar value option on the slate (as of Tuesday afternoon).

Tomas Satoransky, PG, Washington Wizards ($3,600)

Tomas Satoransky has jumped into the starting lineup ahead of Raul Neto, and that makes him a value play worth targeting.

This isn't due to an injury or anything -- Satoransky simply got the start the other night and has now been in the starting lineup in back-to-back games. With the starting unit, he's holding a 14.8% offensive usage rate while producing 1.13 FanDuel points per minute. He's gone for 23.6 and 24.1 FanDuel points in those two starts, so he's a clear value option to hone in on for tonight's five-game slate.

The matchup against the Chicago Bulls is a solid one with a 222.5-point over/under and a close 3.5-point spread. The Bulls come into this game allowing 47.96 FanDuel points per game to point guards, which is the 12th-most in the league.

Satoransky comes in projected for 30.22 minutes and 22.3 FanDuel points, making him the third-best value option of the night and the top value option among point guards.
