Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Wednesday 3/8/17

It's another large slate with millions in guaranteed prize pools. All the more reason to catch up on all the injuries of the day! There are several teams who will or could be without their top scorers tonight.

Notable Injuries

Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls might be in trouble tonight. Dwyane Wade did not go through shootaround and is officially a game-time decision, but he might be closer to doubtful. Rajon Rondo is also a game time decision, while Jimmy Butler also missed shootaround this morning with an illness and looks to be a game-time call, as well.

If all three of those guys are out, it will leave a huge hole in the Bulls' offense. Jerian Grant, Michael Carter-Williams, Cameron Payne and Denzel Valentine will all likely have to play big minutes, as could Paul Zipser. Nikola Mirotic might be their number one option on offense, so keep an eye out for injury news as we should know more before rosters lock.

Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets are another team potentially down two of their top scorers tonight. Nikola Jokic is questionable as he is still suffering from illness, and Danilo Gallinari also has a bug and is questionable. If Gallo is out, the Nuggets will have to turn to Gary Harris, Will Barton and Wilson Chandler on the wing, while Mason Plumlee would likely be an excellent value option tonight.

San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs don't have any injuries, but they are giving both LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard the night off tonight. This should open up a ton of room for guys like Jonathon Simmons, Danny Green and Kyle Anderson on the wing, while David Lee now becomes a great source of value with Aldridge out. Pau Gasol could also be looking at a few more minutes.

Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz are another team with a lengthy injury report for tonight. Derrick Favors and Shelvin Mack will both be out, while George Hill and Joe Johnson are both questionable. If Johnson is out again, Rodney Hood, Alec Burks and Joe Ingles could all three pick up minutes, while Dante Exum should be a popular play tonight if Hill is out again.

Miami Heat

The Miami Heat have mostly good news coming out of shootaround this morning as Okaro White, Tyler Johnson and Luke Babbitt are all probable. The only question mark is James Johnson, whose status still up in the air with an elbow injury. If he is out, expect White and Babbitt to pick up minutes. Rodney McGruder could potentially see some extra run, too.

Boston Celtics

It looks as if Al Horford has a chance to return on Wednesday, but nothing is set in stone. Double-check his status -- as well as Jonas Jerebko's -- on Wednesday.

Nikola Vucevic, Orlando Magic

Nikola Vucevic will miss his third game in a row tonight with an Achilles injury. Load up on Bismack Biyombo once again.

Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks

Carmelo Anthony was a surprise scratch on Monday with knee soreness, but it seems like it was just precautionary. He will play on Wednesday.

Ryan Anderson, Houston Rockets

Ryan Anderson is doubtful on Wednesday after being forced to leave Monday's game early with a back issue. If he is indeed out tonight, look for Eric Gordon to pick up some value.

DeMarre Carroll, Toronto Raptors

DeMarre Carroll has now missed practice twice and is questionable at best tonight. If he is unable to play, P.J. Tucker and Norman Powell are both intriguing DFS options on Wednesday.

Lavoy Allen, Indiana Pacers

Lavoy Allen has missed the Indiana Pacers' last two games, and there has been no word on his status for tonight. C.J. Miles has played 33 minutes and dropped 13 and 16 points, respectively, in those two games and should be a great DFS option again on Wednesday if Allen is out again.
