5 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for 11/16/16

Jamal Murray has been hot, and he gets a juicy matchup with the Phoenix Suns. Which other low-cost players are worth checking out for NBA DFS?

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup tonight.

Jamal Murray, PG, Denver Nuggets

FanDuel Price: $3,700
Projected FanDuel Points: 22.7

Jamal Murray may finally be getting over his rookie slump as he's scored double figures in three of his last four games. During that span, Murray is averaging 12.5 points and 2.5 three-pointers. With both Will Barton and Gary Harris out tonight, Murray will have a great opportunity to step up once again in the scoring column. The matchup is ripe, too. The Denver Nuggets host the Phoenix Suns, who lead the league in pace and are giving up the most points to opposing point guards.

J.J. Redick, SG, Los Angeles Clippers

FanDuel Price: $4,300
Projected FanDuel Points: 20.7

J.J. Redick has been lights out during a seven-game hot streak, shooting 52% from the field, 50% from the three-point line and 95% from the foul line in that span. Redick is averaging 13.3 points on the year, his lowest since joining the Los Angeles Clippers, but he's snatching a career-high 1.1 steals per game. The Clippers take on the Memphis Grizzlies, who are giving up the fifth-most points to opposing shooting guards.

C.J. Miles, SF, Indiana Pacers

FanDuel Price: $4,600
Projected FanDuel Points: 20.9

C.J. Miles continues to score at a highly consistent rate as he's reached double figures in all but two of his games. Miles is averaging 14.5 points in just 24 minutes per game, and he ranks second in three-pointers made per game and third in three-point shooting percentage. The Indiana Pacers face off against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who give up the fifth-most three-point field goals per game.

Dario Saric, PF, Philadelphia 76ers

FanDuel Price: $4,100
Projected FanDuel Points: 24.0

Dario Saric has scored double digits in three of his last four games, with averages of 11.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 three-pointers during that span. The Philadelphia 76ers will rest Joel Embiid tonight, which should bode well for Saric. In three games played without Embiid, Saric is averaging 13.3 points and 8.7 rebounds. In seven games played with Embiid, Saric is averaging 8.1 points and 4.9 rebounds. The Sixers host the Washington Wizards, who give up the third-most points to opposing power forwards.

John Henson, C, Milwaukee Bucks

FanDuel Price: $4,000
Projected FanDuel Points: 17.0

John Henson is making the most of his minutes during his past two games, averaging 6.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in 17.4 minutes in that span. After getting his first start of the season in his most recent game, Henson is expected to remain the starting center, according to coach Jason Kidd. The Milwaukee Bucks visit the Atlanta Hawks tonight, who give up the second-most rebounds to opposing centers and may be without Dwight Howard due to a quad injury.
