Washington Wizards point guard John Wall (knee) has undergone a successful procedure on both of his knees, according to the Wizards.

Wall's procedure was to excise calcific deposits in his left patella tendon in order to eliminate pain, and he will begin the rehabilitation process immediately."I am determined to lead this team back to the playoffs and getting healthy is the best way for me to accomplish that," said Wall. "I can promise the fans, my teammates and the organization that I will be focused on that goal throughout the summer and it will drive me to do everything I can to be ready for next season." Wall also underwent an arthroscopic lavage on his right knee in order to remove loose bodies, according to the team, and is expected to be available for the start of the 2016-'17 season.
Wall finished the regular season with a -0.8 nERD, which ranked 88th. He averaged 19.9 points, 4.9 boards and 10.2 assists per game while hitting just 42.4 percent of his shots. His 4.67 Effective Field Goal Percentage was down from his clip the past two seasons but still above his career average. Over the past two years, Wall has averaged 10.0 and 10.2 assists, respectively.
