Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, SG, Detroit Pistons

FanDuel Price: $5,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

While the shooting guard position is never a deep one, there are two significant options that many will gravitate to on Thursday. Devin Booker versus the hapless Lakers will draw plenty of attention while C.J. McCollum against the Philadelphia 76ers will also be highly rostered as well.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is coming off an embarrassing 5.2-fantasy-point night versus the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday that will scare off plenty of potential owners, too.

Why You Should Use Him:

Since the All-Star break, the Detroit Pistons shooting guard has had his share of bad nights -- three to be exact. However, in his other starts, he has been phenomenal.

In the last two weeks, Caldwell-Pope has produced at least 29 FanDuel points four times, blowing by 5x value. In the first game out of the break, he went off for 33 points with 9 rebounds and 7 three-pointers for 48.3 fantasy points versus the Charlotte Hornets. Even factoring his awful games, he's averaging 15.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game with 25.1 FanDuel points in the last seven games.

The matchup on Thursday is one conducive to a high-scoring night for the 24-year-old. The Cleveland Cavaliers have been a train wreck at defending two-guards all year long. Kyle Korver ranks 91st out of 97 shooting guards with a defensive real plus/minus of -2.57. His compatriot at the position, Iman Shumpert, has not been much better with a -0.49 mark.

The team as a whole allows the second-most fantasy points to the position this season.

On Monday, they gave up 29 points and 40.9 FanDuel points to Dion Waiters. In the last time Caldwell-Pope played the Cavs, he scored 18 points with 33.1 FanDuel points.
