D'Angelo Russell, PG, Los Angeles Lakers

FanDuel Price: $6,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

On a night with a short slate, Russell Westbrook will be hard to pass up despite his enormous price tag. Go beyond Westbrook and the point guard position is still stacked on Thursday with Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard, and Chris Paul all suiting up.

If someone is not going to pay up for any of those playmakers, they may decide to go cheap with either Tony Parker or Reggie Jackson, leaving D'Angelo Russell in an odd middle ground with his $6,700 price tag.

Why You Should Use Him:

While his overall numbers for the season are quite underwhelming -- 15.0 points, 4.7 assists per game on 40.4% shooting -- something must have clicked for the point guard over the All-Star break. In his last six games, the 21-year-old is averaging 20.8 points, 5.5 assists, 2.2 steals, and 2.7 three-pointers per game on 46.3% shooting.

During that stretch, Russell has scored 30 or more FanDuel points four times, averaging 34.5 per night. In the first game out of the break against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Russell scored 29 points with 4 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals as he posted 46.8 FanDuel points, his third-best performance of the season. That game was against a team that allows the ninth-most fantasy point to point guards.

On Thursday, his Los Angeles Lakers face the Phoenix Suns, who give up the fifth-most.

The Lakers-Suns matchup has been pegged as the highest-scoring game of the night. The over/under is an astronomical 230, thanks to both the Lakers and Suns ranking in the top six in pace and the bottom five in defensive efficiency.

A little over three weeks ago, Russell faced the Suns and dropped 33.8 FanDuel points, equal to 5x value at his price tag on Thursday.
