Erasmo Ramirez, Tampa Bay Rays

Starts: May 29th at Texas Rangers, June 4th at Seattle Mariners

ESPN ownership: 5 percent

A hyped starter prospect turned Swiss Army utility pitcher, Erasmo Ramirez has answered the bell when called upon to fill gaps in a shaky Rays rotation, boasting nearly 20 innings of 3.20 ERA across four scattered starts this season.

Ramirez has never been a strikeout asset as a starter, but his walks and homers are down in the short starting sample this year, though a notable spike in hard contact does raise a red flag or two.

Even so, his go-to changeup has been utterly nasty this year, flashing plus movement while also maintaining the highest zone rate by far across his five-year career. That pitch -- which has limited hitters to an absurd -41 weighted runs created plus (wRC+) across 108 offerings this season -- should prove especially devastating against both the Rangers and the Mariners, who have struggled to produce off the change this season.
