The most significant change to the odds is those of the Kansas City Chiefs. After they were blown out by the surging Tennessee Titans, the Chiefs have seen their odds fall from +750 to +1300. Their odds of winning have fallen dramatically according to numberFire metrics too. Last week, the Chiefs had a 9.3% chance of winning by our numbers. This week, these odds are at 2.8%. Six AFC teams have better odds than the Chiefs at this stage of the season.

The Cincinnati Bengals and Las Vegas Raiders are two teams with shorter odds of ultimate victory than the Chiefs, and both saw their odds with the bookies fall this past week. The 5-2 Bengals and the 4-3 Raiders are both available at +4000 having sat at +7000 a week ago.

The biggest fallers were two teams who could be interested in getting involved in the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes as the trade deadline approaches. The Carolina Panthers actually benched Sam Darnold during their loss to the New York Giants, a loss that saw them fall to 3-4 and +18000 in the betting. The Philadelphia Eagles started off hot against the Raiders but soon fell behind thanks to the irresistible form of Derek Carr. They are now 2-5, and like the Panthers, the FanDuel Sportsbook has them at +18000 to win the Super Bowl.

The Panthers loss has seen them join the least exclusive club in football, namely the list of teams that numberFire metrics give a 0.0% chance of winning the Super Bowl in 2021. They and the Chicago Bears are the eighth and ninth members of the club this season, joining the Atlanta Falcons, Washington, the Miami Dolphins, the Giants, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Detroit Lions, and the New York Jets.
