Danny Woodhead ($6,100)

Danny Woodhead's price has continued to creep upwards following his most recent two-touchdown outing, threatening to even leave "bargain bin" territory soon, but -- and I know I sound like a broken record talking about him every week -- he once again provides great fantasy value.

Woodhead is still the best back on the team and is still cheaper than teammate Melvin Gordon. 60 running backs have recorded at least 25 carries on the season so far, and among those, Woodhead ranks 20th with a 0.03 Rush NEP per carry. Gordon, who saw only seven carries in each of the last two games, ranks 57th. Branden Oliver has also out-touched Gordon in that span, with 16 carries and 10 receptions.

Woodhead has been the most effective receiving back in the league, ranking first in Reception NEP per target among the 28 backs with 20-plus targets. In addition to being the most efficient, he sees the most volume, and his 47 targets lead running backs on the year and are the second most on the Chargers.

He's been targeted six times in the red zone, which is tied for the second-most on the team, and accounts for 16.7% of the Chargers' red zone targets. He also has 12 carries inside the 20, meaning he's recorded either a carry or target on one third of San Diego's red zone snaps this season, giving him huge touchdown upside.

Woodhead still having a bargain-bin price tag is an absolute steal, and I could very well spend next week lamenting the fact that his salary is too high to include in the column.
