FanDuel Studs to Target in Week 8

Consider building your FanDuel rosters around these studs in Week 8.

With Week 8 upon us, it's time to look at some of the studs you should be targeting as you construct your FanDuel lineups. But before we do, let's take a look at last week's hits and misses.

Last week was full of a ton of obvious choices across the football spectrum. As such, Todd Gurley, Devonta Freeman, Carson Palmer, and Philip Rivers put up their expected safe floors as predicted. The DeAndre Hopkins recommendation was based on the insane target volume he receives, and while he still garnered 12 targets, he managed only 50 yards on 6 catches, so we can't exactly call that one a hit even if it was good process.

The Julius Thomas call was also a clear miss, although to be fair, he was a tournament suggestion because of the tough matchup. But the flow of the Jaguars/Bills game got out of whack very quickly, with the Jaguars nursing a 14-point lead headed into halftime, so the team's offense turned really conservative early on. The hit of the week went to T.Y. Hilton, who threw up a 150-yard, 2-touchdown performance against the Saints, which may be encouraging for a big Odell Beckham week. However, with his hamstring woes, it's hard to go all-in on him this week with confidence.

Fortunately (depending on your definition of the word), Week 8 doesn't contain as much of a slate of blatantly obvious plays, so hopefully I won't be telling you what you've already heard in a thousand different places. With that said, let's get to some of the top plays for Week 8 on FanDuel.
