Targeting running backs against the Chargers has proven to be good process this season. Why? Because their 14th ranked passing defense per our numbers, while not outstanding, far outclasses their 31st ranked rushing defense. Moreover, the Chargers have also given up the fourth most receiving yards to running backs as well. And through six weeks, the Chargers have given up 23.6 fantasy points per game to running backs in standard scoring leagues, a total of 6.9 points per game over the average NFL defense this season.

Enter Justin Forsett. Forsett is already an intriguing option this week because his price point is super affordable. Getting a starting running back with as juicy a matchup as this one who is virtually assured to get at least 15 rushing attempts for less than $7,000 isn't always that easy. And prior to last week's game against the Cardinals, where the Ravens had to resort to the pass in the second half to try and play catch up, Forsett had logged at least 17 carries in three straight games. Moreover, he's caught at least four passes in five of seven games this season.

Finally, The Ravens enter the game as 3.5-point favorites, so there's a good chance that they’ll be trying to nurse a league and burn some clock, a game script that would favor handing the ball off to Forsett to limit mistakes.
