Louis Murphy, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Louis Murphy ($3,400) could be a forgotten player this week coming off a bye and lost in the shuffle of all the other options at wide receiver. Murphy has scored a touchdown in each of his last two games, and that type of consistency is exactly what you’re looking for with a “punt” play.

Not to mention, Murphy was targeted 9 times in a 48-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens 2 weeks ago and turned that into 7 catches for 72 yards and a score. Because the Buccaneers are playing from behind so often, their pass catchers should have plenty of opportunity on a weekly basis.

Murphy’s Reception NEP of 20.87 is pretty impressive, especially considering he’s only played in three games this season. If he steadied that same production for a full eight weeks, he’d be performing better than DeAndre Hopkins, Roddy White, and Terrance Williams.

Either way, he’s become a favorite of quarterback Mike Glennon and should have plenty of opportunities against a Cleveland Browns secondary that gives up the seventh-most point-per-reception fantasy points to wide receivers.
