Bishop Sankey, Tennessee Titans

Bishop Sankey emerged from the 2014 NFL Draft as the running back in the best situation to have an immediate impact. With Chris Johnson gone, only Shonn Greene remained as a potential obstacle to Sankey having the backfield to himself.

Sankey’s ADP has begun to fall (a full round over the last month), but is still inflated compared to what we project him to do.

Despite all the negative vibes thrown at Greene, the case has been made that he should be the outright starter over Sankey. Greene finished sixth last season in terms of Rushing NEP among 20 running backs who had 50-100 carries.

The official Titans depth chart not only lists Greene as the starter, but it also lists Sankey as third-string behind Dexter McCluster. Sankey will more than likely see time this season, but it will be difficult for him to produce enough to justify his current fourth-round price tag.
