It's David Njoku's Week

Maybe David Njoku hasn't lived up to his first-round draft capital from a year ago, but that won't keep him from being one of Week 15's top tight end plays.

It's been an up-and-down season for the giant 6'4", 245-pound sophomore; and for fantasy he's been a touchdown-or-bust option at the position. He's only scored three times and is averaging just 3.6 receptions per game for 36.5 yards. But that's about to change in Week 15.

The Cleveland Browns are taking on the Denver Broncos in what might be one of the low-key great games of the week. The Broncos are fighting for a playoff spot and the Browns are finally a living-and-breathing team after years of attempted revivals. But beyond the melodrama is an on-fire Browns offense taking on a Broncos defense bleeding points to opposing tight ends.

We all saw George Kittle eviscerate the Broncos last week, but that team's struggles against the tight end position extend past this season -- even last year they gave up the third-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. It's not just a coincidence that the Broncos bleed yards to tight ends -- it's a systemic thing.

That puts Njoku, who hasn't quite flashed since his big game against the Cincinnati Bengals, in a spot to score massive fantasy points. The Browns have been caught up in strange game scripts the past couple games, but this week they'll thrive taking on the Broncos through the middle of the field, and they are expected to trail in the form of a 2.5-point spread in Denver's favor. Njoku will finish this week as a top five tight end in fantasy football.
