Chris Godwin received a $1K price increase in Week 14, and deservedly so. His current role in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers- offense may still be under-priced though. Godwin is in line for a second straight week of starter snaps with DeSean Jackson possibly sidelined again.

Godwin balled out last week against the Carolina Panthers, seeing six targets and getting over the 100-yard mark with a touchdown to top it off. His Receving Net Expected Points per target (1.81) was second for all wide receivers in Week 13.

He accomplished this with a high average depth of target (aDOT; 11.3) while still showing after-the-catch ability based on his RACR (1.49). This all came with Jameis Winston having the least amount of pass attempts in a game for any of his starts this season.

For those that have been keeping tabs on Godwin this will not be a surprise though. He’s continued to be efficient this season and there aren’t any signs of slowing down. His overall Receiving NEP per target is 11th among all wide receivers with a minimum of 25 targets.

In the highest total game on the slate that involves the New Orleans Saints, and with the Buccaneers’ expecting negative game script, the passing game targets should be heavily in play here. Godwin’s ability to hit yardage bonuses, acquire deep targets, and having touch down equity is the perfect blend of traits to have in a DFS receiver that has a solid floor and ceiling combination.

Godwin will be a good asset for full on game stacks and cash games while still being affordable for another week. Continue to buy into the Godwin stock as it proceeds to rise.
