John Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens

Yahoo Ownership: 61%

Lamar Jackson is truly one of the most exciting young talents in the league. At just 21 years of age, he's led the Baltimore Ravens to three consecutive wins since taking over as the starter and has rushed for over 250 yards in those games. He's an electric runner and a fun quarterback to watch.

Jackson has been good for the Ravens as a franchise and good for his running backs -- Gus Edwards has been killing it on the ground -- but the Ravens receivers have definitely struggled since Joe Flacco went down. For as exciting Jackson is as a runner, he's been lackluster as a passer to start his career.

Jackson has completed just 39 passes since the start of Week 11. He hasn't been terribly accurate, and the Ravens offense has changed its dynamic to a heavily run-dominant scheme. That means that there just isn't a lot of meat on the bone for Jackson's pass-catchers. What opportunities they do have are muddled further by the confusing way the Ravens utilize their receivers -- pretty much all of the team's wideouts and tight ends are playing in a rotation.

This has essentially killed John Brown's fantasy value. He didn't see a single target in Week 13 and had caught just two of his eight targets in the two previous weeks. The exciting deep threat has become more of a bit-player in an offense designed to move the ball on the ground instead of through the air.

He is still an incredibly fast receiver, so you can always hope for one big play, but it's safe to say that there are better options out there in virtually every league. You can drop Brown and move on.
