Yes, the Buffalo Bills have been one of the worst teams in the league this season and one of our favorite offenses to target for streaming defenses. But the Bills defense has been surprisingly effective through 11 weeks.

The Bills defense ranks as the league's third-best, per numberFire's schedule-adjusted metrics. This week, they face a floundering Jacksonville Jaguars team that has lost six straight. Over the past six games, five defenses to face the Jaguars have come away with a top-12 fantasy finish.

It's been a struggle for Blake Bortles the past six weeks. He's thrown just 5 touchdowns while committing 8 turnovers and taking 18 sacks. He was briefly benched in the Week 7 loss to the Houston Texans in favor of Cody Kessler. Just last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Bortles threw for only 104 yards, took 6 sacks, and lost a fumble in the Jags' 20-16 loss. The Steelers finished the week as a top-nine fantasy defense.

Against Buffalo this week, the Jaguars are actually a 3.0-point road favorite, but this game has a putrid 37.5-point over/under, the lowest on the week. There may not be many pass attempts in this game, but there also shouldn't be a lot of scoring. At home, and against Bortles, the Bills are in play if the Cowboys and Colts are not available in your league.
