Chicago Bears

FanDuel Price: $4,500
numberFire Projection: 8.3 FanDuel points

Through five weeks of the NFL season, we have a better idea where each team's defensive unit stands. For the Chicago Bears, that is at the top.

Even as they have played only four games -- they had a bye in Week 5 -- Chicago's defense leads the NFL in FanDuel points (58); they are averaging an impressive 14.5 per game. This elite unit is suffocating opponents, allowing 294.5 yards and 16.3 points per game -- both second-best marks in the league. With an intense pass rush, led by Khalil Mack, Da Bears average a league-best 4.5 sacks and 2.0 interceptions per game. Their Week 6 opponent, the Miami Dolphins, have not shown to be enough of a threat on offense to steer us away from the Bears this week.

The Dolphins have scored less than 20 points per game while gaining the 3rd-fewest yards per game this season. Ryan Tannehill has been a mess lately, too, posting consecutive sub-200 yard passing days while committing five total turnovers (three interceptions, two fumbles) in Weeks 4 & 5. As a product, the Miami QB's -0.06 Passing Net Expected Points per pass attempt ranks him 28th out of the 31 quarterbacks who have attempted at least 100 passes this season.

The Bears have all the makings of an elite option this week and have the added bonus of being moderately priced at $4,500 in Week 6.
