Frank Gore, RB, Miami Dolphins

Yahoo! Ownership: 9%

The ageless wonder, Frank Gore, has been seeing a significant share of the Dolphins' rushing workload this season. He has received 18 carries compared to 25 for starter Kenyan Drake. They haven’t been empty touches, either, as Gore has gained 86 yards on the ground in two weeks. Add in 19 yards through the air, and the 35-year-old back has averaged over 52 yards per game this season.

The productive play has helped lift Gore's snap count as it jumped from 29% in Week 1 to 40% last Sunday. Gore has been the more effective back as well, besting Drake in Rushing Net Expected Points per carry (0.01 to -0.05) and Success Rate (55.6% to 44.0%). Gore should be in position to see another generous dose of playing time in a plus matchup against the Raiders in Week 3.

Oakland has been gashed for 154.0 yards per game, second-most in the league, while allowing 5.7 yards per rush, most in the NFL. The Dolphins' game script works in Gore's favor as well, with Miami a home favorite over an Oakland team traveling cross-country for an early Sunday game.
