Ryan Tannehill, QB, Miami Dolphins

Yahoo Ownership: 7%

For those of you in super deep and 2-QB leagues where the waiver wire has been picked clean but still need a quarterback, look no further than the under-10% owned Ryan Tannehill for Week 3.

Through the first two games of the season, Tannehill has been extremely efficient, completing over 72% of his passes with a 7.8% touchdown rate. Both marks place him in the top-5 of all QBs, who have attempted at least 50 passes. The Miami Dolphins quarterback has also flashed some escapability and athleticism, something many worried about after missing a year with a knee injury, as he has rushed for 48 yards in 2 games.

While his passing yardage is not ideal (199.0 per game) Tannehill has produced QB2 numbers against a pair of solid defenses. In Week 3, he gets to try his hand against a much more forgiven defensive unit in the Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders sit in the middle of the pack in terms of fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks (19th). However, their defense is far from elite. They have allowed 375.0 yards and 26.5 points per game this season. Thanks to the lack of a pass rush for Oakland, Tannehill should have plenty of time to throw. The Raiders have registered just two sacks, and seven QB hits this season, both bottom-five marks.
