James Conner, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 1 Salary: $5,000

Week 2 Salary: $7,000

If there is one name that you would expect to have had the biggest salary jump, it is James Conner. The second-year player out of the University of Pittsburgh dazzled in his Week 1 start against the Cleveland Browns.

With all of the hype surrounding him given Le'Veon Bell's decision to not join his teammates, his $5,000 price tag, and a decent matchup, his 29.9% ownership in FanDuel's Sunday Million seemed rather low.

To those afraid of the chalk, you made a mistake. Conner would finish with 192 yards from scrimmage, 5 receptions, 2 touchdowns, and 31.7 FanDuel points, meaning he returned a value of over 6 FanDuel points per $1,000.

His price deservedly rose $2,000, the highest of any player this week. Despite that, he could easily return solid value once again in a matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

As stated on the previous slide, the game has the slate's highest over/under by a big margin. Kansas City is coming off a game in which they allowed Melvin Gordon to go off for 168 yards, 9 receptions, and 23.1 FanDuel points. Kansas City should once again be without safety Eric Berry, a huge hit to their defense.

The next biggest mover this week is T.J. Yeldon, who would be the starting running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars if Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is forced to miss Week 2. With the uncertainty surrounding that situation and a number of other solid plays on tap, he could be a player to look to as a pivot in tournaments when Sunday comes around.
