Wide Receiver

Chalk

While many DFS players were in a wait-and-see mode last week, the Josh Gordon hype has exploded. With a matchup against a Packers defense that has given up the fourth-most points to wide receivers, the moderately-priced Gordon should see heavy ownership, especially after compiling 85 yards against one of the better cornerbacks in the league.

Keenan Allen will be a popular play after topping 100 yards with a score in three straight games. Though the Washington Redskins rank sixth against the wide receiver position on FanDuel, they have given up a couple of big games in the past five weeks, including a 166-yard effort from Adam Thielen. Tyreek Hill has proven to be a better fantasy play on the road than at home, but his matchup against Oakland team he torched for a 64-yard score in Week 7 will prove to be enticing for FanDuel players. It doesn't hurt that people's memories are fresh with his 185-yard, 2-score outing against the New York Jets.

Pivots

Marvin Jones/Golden Tate, $7,000/$6,800 (at Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

If you feel OK about starting Matthew Stafford, then should you have even less hesitation about starting his top two receivers. The Bucs are poor against all parts of the passing game, but they are particularly terrible against opposing wideouts -- they rank dead last against the position and have allowed three different receivers to top 170 yards in a game.

Marvin Jones and Golden Tate are both in line for big games and should have lower ownership numbers than they deserve due to Stafford's hand issue. Jones has been the more consistent option of the two, with double-digit scores in six of his past seven games. However, Tate has seen the most targets on the team in the past two weeks and is due to break out.

He'll likely have the lower ownership number of the two, which makes him an even more intriguing contrarian option. Whichever one you choose (or both!), the upside is certainly there to be tournament relevant, especially if you are entering multiple lineups.
