Things have been slowly looking up for Devontae Booker over the past couple weeks, which has made him a worthwhile add in season-long leagues. However, it's still difficult to fully recommend him in DFS.

Last week looked like it would finally be the game Booker would take over the Denver Broncos backfield, but instead we got the same old messy committee, with Booker continuing to share touches (8) with C.J. Anderson (5), and Jamaal Charles (3). Booker did see the most snaps (44.1%), but that's not exactly enough to get excited about, particularly on a struggling Broncos offense. The New England Patriots this is not.

Some of last week's lack of volume can be blamed on the inept play of Paxton Lynch -- Trevor Siemian will start this week -- and Booker does get a plus matchup against the Miami Dolphins, who rank 18th against the run by numberFire's marks. Still, until further notice, this remains a shared backfield, which will limit Booker's upside no matter who is at quarterback. It's also worth noting that Booker underwhelmed in a feature role last year, so it's fair to question just how much upside he really has.
