Vernon Davis' 24.76% Target Share Over Past Three Games Ranks 4th Among Tight Ends

With Jordan Reed out, Vernon Davis' target share has increased by 10.69% over his season average. Over the first seven games of the season, Davis averaged just 3.0 targets, with a high of 2.0 in Week 3. In the three games since, he has averaged a whopping 8.7 targets per game, giving him the biggest increase in target share of any tight end over that stretch.

He has also averaged 5.3 receptions and 71.7 receiving yards for an average of 12.5 PPR fantasy points per game, which would rank him fifth among all tight ends over the first 11 weeks of this season. Reed has topped 50 yards in just one of his healthy games and has not reached 65 yards at all this season.

If Reed is out for Week 12, Davis will be a high-end TE1 against the New York Giants, who are allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends of any team this season.
