Adam Thielen's 10.7 Fantasy Points per Game Ranks 6th Among Wide Receivers

Stefon Diggs has been quite good this season, averaging the eighth-most fantasy points per game among wide receivers. But his teammate Adam Thielen has played two more games than Diggs and ranks two spots above him in fantasy points per game. Along with DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller in Houston, the Minnesota Vikings duo is one of just two pairs of teammates to both rank inside the top-10 wide receivers in fantasy points per game.

Ever since Diggs was forced to miss two games with a groin injury, Thielen has established himself as the team's top receiver. He has averaged 11 targets over those five games and is seeing the sixth-highest target percentage (31.64%) of any wide receiver during that span.

In the three games since Diggs has returned, Thielen out-targeted him 31 to 17 and nearly tripled the fantasy points of his teammate. Thielen is currently on pace for 99.2 receptions and 1465.6 receiving yards this season, which would rank him third and second, respectively, in Vikings history behind only Randy Moss in both categories.
