Nathan Peterman Is the 15th Quarterback in NFL History With 5-Plus Interceptions in Under 20 Passing Attempts

Following his 56-yard, 1-interception performance in Week 10, Tyrod Taylor was benched in favor of Nathan Peterman to start Week 11's game versus the Los Angeles Chargers. That did not provide the offensive spark that the Buffalo Bills were hoping for, as Peterman completed just 1 more pass to his own team than he did to the opposition in the first half.

Completing just 6 of 14 passes for 66 yards and 5 interceptions during the first half, Peterman became the first quarterback since 1977 to throw 5 interceptions less than 20 pass attempts. Since at least 1950, the only other quarterback to throw that many interceptions on less than 15 pass attempts was Archie Manning in 1973.

In just that one half of play, Peterman through 2 more interceptions than Taylor has all season. It took head coach Sean McDermott until Wednesday to announce it, but Taylor will unsurprisingly reclaim his starting job in Week 12.
