LeSean McCoy, RB, Buffalo Bills

FanDuel Price: $8,000

DraftKings Price: $7,800

LeSean McCoy has struggled over the last couple weeks, due in large part to the Buffalo Bills' struggles as a whole. McCoy's involvement in the passing game typically makes him game script independent, but in blowouts against the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints, the lopsided scores left him with touch totals of just12 and 11. Things won't get any easier in Week 11 with fifth-round rookie Nathan Peterman making his first NFL start against the Los Angeles Chargers.

It's fair to expect Peterman to have his hands full on the road against a Chargers defense that ranks second in the league in sacks (29), and third in Football Outsiders' adjusted sack rate. If the game stays close, perhaps McCoy's touches bump back up the 20-plus range he was enjoying before, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Peterman struggle, leading to another unproductive day for McCoy. As you might expect, the Bills have an uninspiring 19.5 implied team total, suggesting little in the way of scoring opportunities. Not only that, but the Bills defense is also a concern for game flow, getting completely gashed on the ground the last two weeks, and now ranking dead-last against the run by numberFire's metrics.

As is often the caveat with these fades, given his recent fantasy output and the likely popularity of the Los Angeles Chargers D/ST, you can probably get McCoy at very low ownership if you have faith that Peterman can move the Buffalo offense. But it's an awfully risky play, particularly at McCoy's relatively high salary on both sites.
