Doug Martin has been a bit of a letdown so far this season. After three weeks on the sidelines due to a suspension, he came through with back-to-back solid outings, but hasn't scored more than 10 points in the four subsequent weeks. This is certainly not all his fault, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offense has been in a state of flux with the health status of Jameis Winston.

However, Martin is still a focal point of the offense, seeing at least 18 carries in three of the past four games. It's not like the coaches are forgetting about him. That usage should finally pay off in a matchup against a Miami Dolphins defense that has been generous to running backs all season long.

The Dolphins have allowed at least 9.7 PPR points to an opposing rusher in every single game this year, including nine such players in the past five weeks. This bodes well for Martin's floor. We project him to finish with 14.1 points, returning over three-times his salary-implied value.
