Houston's defense simply hasn't been the same since losing perennial All-Pro J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus, especially against opposing quarterbacks. Since they went down, the Texans have seen four of five signal-callers score at least 23.5 points. They now give up the second-most points per game to the position on the season, behind only New England.

Despite his often inconsistent play, Gabbert brings a solid floor due to his ability to run. In his five starts last season, he averaged 5.84 points per game on the ground. This is such a benefit and helps to build a solid floor, making him worthy of a cash-game spot despite his mediocre passing ability. At $4,900, he won't need to do much to hit value this week. Add in the poor defense he is facing, and he has legitimate 20-point upside.
