Detroit Lions vs. Cleveland Browns

Over/Under: 43.5

Lions Implied Team Total: 28.25

Browns Implied Team Total: 15.25

Fresh off snapping a three-game losing streak, the Detroit Lions appear to be back on track and ready for a potential second-half surge. Favored by 13 points over the visiting Cleveland Browns, the Lions are set to return considerable value.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions

FanDuel Price: $8,200

Matthew Stafford is playing some of his best football right now. Yes, the Lions have struggled to score touchdowns in the red zone lately, but the ninth-year pro has still racked up 1,096 passing yards and 5 touchdowns over his last three starts. On the heels of completing 78.8 percent of his passes for a quarterback rating of 125.0 against the blitz on Monday Night, he's proving why the Lions paid him so much money in the offseason.

The Browns are allowing 19.3 FanDuel points per game (ninth-most) to opposing quarterbacks and the Lions have the second-highest implied team total on the slate. Stafford isn't exactly cheap at his QB5 cost, but his recent play along with his status as a heavy favorite makes him a borderline must-start option in seasonal leagues, and a smart investment in daily formats.

Marvin Jones, WR, Detroit Lions

FanDuel Price: $6,400

We talked about Marvin Jones' potential against the Packers defense in this very column last week, and he paid dividends on Monday Night Football, catching 7 passes for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns on his division rivals.

While it may seem repetitive to talk about him again, it's completely necessary. And why? Because in spite of the fact that he's accumulated 19 receptions, 331 yards, and 3 touchdowns over his last three contests, he's somehow still only priced as the WR24 on FanDuel.

Let's not forget that he's playing with a locked-in quarterback facing a winless team and is a 13-point home favorite in the biggest projected blowout on the slate. It's long past time to recognize 2017 as the breakout season Jones teased a year ago, and as long as he's startable for such a low rate, he needs to be in your lineup.

Others to Consider

Were it not for Jones' recent stretch of brilliance, Golden Tate ($7,400) would be receiving a lot more attention than he has been. The veteran has snared 21 receptions for 295 yards and a touchdown over his last three contests and is on pace for 100 catches this season. While his WR11 price point is a little more aggressive than that of Jones, he's still a solid option in Week 10.

Ameer Abdullah ($6,300) received 21 carries on Monday night and scored his first rushing touchdown since Week 4, but it was still a frustrating day for the third-year tailback. Unfortunately, the former Nebraska standout fumbled twice, only accumulated 2.3 yards per carry, and seemed to have his goal-line duties revoked late in the game. It's not all Abdullah's fault, but in a matchup with a surprisingly stout Browns run defense, it might be prudent to look elsewhere at running back this week.
