Atlanta Falcons vs. Dallas Cowboys

Over/Under: 50.5

Falcons Implied Team Total: 26.75

Cowboys Implied Team Total: 23.75

This week's Atlanta Falcons-Dallas Cowboys matchup features the highest over/under on the slate and it's not particularly close.

It's a bit of a surprise to see a struggling Falcons team as three-point favorites over a Cowboys squad that just defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in convincing fashion, but either way, this game should be fantastic for fantasy purposes. The Falcons' offense is averaging 372.0 yards per game (sixth-most), while the Cowboys' offense is averaging 370.5 (eighth-most).

Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons

FanDuel Price: $7,700

Matt Ryan is incredibly underpriced this week. The Falcons aren't scoring points the way they did a season ago, but they're still moving the ball with plenty of success. In last weekend's loss to the Carolina Panthers, Ryan threw for 313 yards, 2 touchdowns, and an interception. Those numbers are very impressive and would have been even better had it not been for Julio Jones ($8,000) uncharacteristically dropping a potential 39-yard touchdown strike.

Jones is dealing with a lower leg injury, but if he plays, Ryan could be the best deal on FanDuel this week. The Cowboys allow 17.6 FanDuel points per contest (15th) to opposing quarterbacks, so while Ryan's matchup isn't a cupcake, it certainly isn't prohibitive. Atlanta is a three-point home favorite and have the fourth-highest implied team total on the slate in a projected shootout. In spite of all of this, Ryan is only priced as the QB9, giving him incredible value. However, make sure to keep an eye on Jones' playing status.

Mohamed Sanu, WR, Atlanta Falcons

FanDuel Price: $5,900

Whether Jones plays or not, Mohamed Sanu is worth serious consideration as a potential stack with Ryan. Ever since the veteran returned from injury in Week 7, he has been an integral component of the Falcons' passing game, snaring 15 of 20 targets for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns. Despite his status as their number-two receiver, he's proven to be the team's best touchdown scorer in the passing game, as he's now found the end zone in consecutive games.

The Cowboys are surrendering 29.6 FanDuel points per contest (tied for sixth-most) to opposing wideouts, making him a strong candidate to extend his scoring streak. In spite of his recent production, he can be on a roster at WR34 cost.

Other to Consider

Ezekiel Elliott ($8,900) has another hearing on Thursday that could go a long way to determining whether he's eligible to play this weekend. I would imagine he gets the green light. Unless he doesn't. At which point, that ruling would be changed once again. Maybe. I think. You get the point. If he plays, he's always a smart investment, but he's also always expensive. Stay tuned.

The aforementioned Julio Jones and Dez Bryant ($7,500) are both intriguing options, but each man's playing status for next weekend is up in the air. Smart money is on both men suiting up, but their respective situations are worth monitoring.
