Randall Cobb, WR, Green Bay Packers

Yahoo Ownership: 84%

Randall Cobb started off the season looking like he'd resume his role as Aaron Rodgers' number-two receiver, a role he parlayed into great fantasy production in 2014. In Weeks 1 and 2, Cobb combined for 22 targets and 15 receptions, putting up 145 combined receiving yards, which was more than enough to make him a startable weekly asset in PPR leagues.

But since a chest injury that forced him to miss Week 3, Cobb's his role has significantly diminished, as he's averaging a mere four targets per game over his last four games. Even with that low target share, though, his history with Rodgers would suggest that holding him until his workload picked up would be the best course of action.

Except, as we all know, Rodgers is out with a broken collarbone, and Rodgers will be out at least another seven weeks. With Brett Hundley serving as the team's starting quarterback, Cobb's role looks to continue to be negligible, with Cobb only mustering 4 targets and 2 catches for 15 yards in Hundley's first start.

Without the presence of a quarterback like Rodgers, who can elevate three receivers into fantasy relevance, starting Cobb will be nothing more than a low-upside dart throw. Ditch Cobb and stash Corey Davis, who could be set up for a big role after the Tennessee Titans' bye in Week 8.
