Week 7 Fantasy Football Market Share Report: Amari Cooper Provides Dilemmas

Sometimes, "boring" can be good. I'm chalking Week 7 up into that category.

If things remain largely static in each team's usage in one week, it can seem a bit mundane to go back through what happened and dissect the winners and losers. But that also means most of the high-end guys stayed healthy, and that's certainly a plus. It also gives us a chance to take a step back and analyze some of the less chaotic situations, something we can't do when the brown stuff is getting sprayed against the wall. We do need to take a step back and do this every once in a while.

We get a chance to do that this week. And it's long overdue. We've spent so much time focusing on committees and praying for clarity that we've been forced to ignore small changes that make a big impact. It's time to amend that right now.

Let's take a peek at some of the more important usages from Week 7 with the help of numberFire's daily fantasy tools. Here, premium members can see each player's rushing, receiving, and red-zone market shares over the past one, three, or five games along with the full season. This allows you to see which players are trending up -- however subtle it may be -- and which are on the decline.

With a bit of time to breathe and revisit some neglected situations, which usages were most important in Week 7? Let's check it out.
