3. Corey Davis, WR, Tennessee Titans

It’s been an injury-plagued start for the top wide receivers of the 2017 class, and Corey Davis -- who has been dealing with a hamstring strain he suffered in Week 2 -- has managed just 7 receptions in two games.

Worse, this was an aggravation of an injury that caused him to miss most of the offseason program. Oh, and Davis wasn't able to workout for NFL teams prior to the draft due to a foot injury suffered late in his final college season. Still, the Tennessee Titans were confident enough in his tape to select him with the fifth overall pick in the 2017 draft, making him the first wide receiver off the board.

While he certainly isn’t a Kevin White-esque stiff (yet), it has certainly been a disappointing start for a player who was often selected with the first overall pick in dynasty leagues. Still, when on the field, Davis has shown flashes of why the Titans selected him early, demonstrating his ability to win at the catch point on contested balls and play with speed and physicality over the middle.

Despite his injury-plagued start, there is no reason Davis shouldn’t remain one of the top selections in dynasty drafts, and the expectation remains that he will develop into the top target for ascending quarterback Marcus Mariota. Of course, it would be a much easier projection if the young duo could actually stay on the field for any period of time.
