2. Leonard Fournette, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars

A consensus top-2 pick during the offseason, Leonard Fournette has been everything we expected him to be as a top-5 NFL draft pick. Possessing a rare combination of size, speed, and power, the former LSU Tiger is on pace to lead the league in carries for a Jacksonville Jaguars offense attempting to hide quarterback Blake Bortles.

While the lack of an effective passing game is limiting the space Fourtnette has to run, his ability to plow through contact and score near the goal line has masked some of the down-to-down inefficiency of Jacksonville's running attack. Combined with an opportunistic defense that leads the league in turnover differential and provides short fields, Fournette has scored at least 1 touchdown in every game and is on pace for 19 scores in 2017.

Fournette leads the league in rushing attempts with 109, and his Rushing NEP per rush of 0.06 is incredibly impressive given the deficiencies of the offense around him. His somewhat average 38.53% Rushing Success Rate highlights some of the inefficiency on a carry-by-carry basis, but there is no doubt he wears defenses down and is always a threat to go 90 yards for a touchdown as he did on Sunday against the Steelers.

Fournette is a throwback runner with a rare skill set and is proving to be the generational talent many projected based on his outstanding college tape.
