Facing Brissett and the Colts is Cleveland rookie DeShone Kizer.

After a solid Week 1 debut in a home loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, a game in which Kizer scored 18.58 fantasy points to finish as the QB9, Kizer predictably struggled in his first road start. Going up against the stout defense of the Baltimore Ravens, Kizer completed 15 of 31 passes for 182 yards, tossing 3 picks with no touchdowns. He also dealt with a migraine that forced him out of the game for a brief spell.

Well, Kizer is on the road again this week, but he's not facing a Ravens-like defense. In fact, he'll be up against one of the NFL's worst defenses as the Colts sit 30th against the pass, according to our metrics, through two weeks.

Similar to Brissett, Kizer's running ability is what makes him super appealing. He's run it 10 times for 43 yards and a touchdown across his first two games, and all you need to do is look back to Deshaun Watson's Week 2 contest to see how one running play can change a quarterback's entire fantasy output.

Even when healthy, Indy is a defense we want to target (27th against the pass a year ago), but we really have to pick on them when Vontae Davis is out. Davis has missed both games this season, and Indy has given up top-14 fantasy weeks to both Jared Goff (QB14) and what's left of Carson Palmer (QB12). Davis returned to a limited practice last Friday, and if he suits up, it would be a big downgrade for Kizer, who is going to battle without Corey Coleman (hand).

As it stands now, our projections are drawing hearts around Kizer's name, ranking him as Week 3's QB10, but monitor Davis' status.

Editor's note: Vontae Davis is officially listed as doubtful.
