Eddie Lacy, RB, Seattle Seahawks

ESPN Ownership: 96%

Yahoo Ownership: 35%

Eddie Lacy hasn't been easy to own in fantasy football over the last three seasons. While we knew headed into the season that the Seattle Seahawks' running back situation would be murky, there was a chance that the bruising back could lead the backfield in touches after the team went out and pursued him during free agency.

But after a lackluster preseason and a regular season debut against his former team, the Green Bay Packers, in which he busted out a whopping three yards on five totes, Lacy looks done. It appears the Seahawks agree, opting to make him a healthy scratch in Week 2 and letting seventh-round rookie Chris Carson get the majority of the work in the rushing game.

Holding onto Lacy out of blind hope will do you no favors at this point. Even if he works his way back into the active rotation, at best he'd be in a timeshare on an offense with one of the worst offensive lines in the league. If you can get Carson, who for the moment appears to have a near lock on the majority of team touches, drop Lacy as quick as you can.
