Jared Goff, QB, Los Angeles Rams
DraftKings Price: $5,100
It's amazing how much of a difference a coaching change can make. After one week of seeing Goff in head coach Sean McVay's offense, I've nearly forgotten the mess of a season the former top overall pick put together last year. He was electric, completing over 72% of his passes en route to a 300-yard day and 19.4 DraftKings points at an insanely low $4,800 salary. His performance on deep passes was even better.

Goff was efficient at spreading out the ball, completing multiple passes to five different players. His Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back of 0.49 was the third highest of any starter, behind only Alex Smith and Sam Bradford. With Josh Norman likely shadowing Sammy Watkins this week, Goff may lean heavily on Cooper Kupp, but expect Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett to see an increased load as well.
Goff's price has risen only $300 since last week. With a home game against a Washington Redskins team that had the ninth-worst Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play last week, he's in an excellent position to hit or exceed value once again.
