If Jacquizz Rodgers had played last week, he may very well have had the highest ownership of any running back. What was not to love about a starter with a sub-$5,000 price tag who was facing a Miami D/ST that gave up the fourth-most rushing yards and sixth-most receptions to running backs in 2016? Well, as we all know, the game was cancelled. Week 1 happened and cheap running backs abounded, as they always do.

Quizz not only seems forgotten in the midst of talk about Javorius Allen, Tarik Cohen, and others, but his price dropped $500 to boot. His opponent, the Chicago Bears, looked better on paper against running backs than in our proprietary metrics. The Chicago D/ST only gave up 64 rushing yards to the Atlanta Falcons, but their Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play of 0.00 ranked just 18th.

The Bucs are seven-point favorites this week with an implied total of 25.5 points. It wouldn't be shocking to see Jameis Winston and company to build a strong lead in the first half, leading to a big second-half workload for Rodgers as the team tries to wind down the clock. For $4,400, Quizz is an excellent contrarian play to the masses that should be loading up on Cohen, Allen, and Kerwynn Williams.
