Jacksonville Jaguars

Needs Entering Draft: QB, RB, TE, IOL, OT
Positions Drafted: RB, WR, OT, DE, ILB, CB

It was surprising that guessing running back Leonard Fournette to the Jacksonville Jaguars was as chalky as it ended up being, but this was a smart call, as the running back spot was a big need and will help ease the wounds of starting quarterback Blake Bortles for another two years. Sky-high upside tackle Cam Robinson in the second round is a move that will help Fournette grow and succeed while also laying the foundation for a quarterback environment that can thrive.

In a really rich tight end class, I expected the Jaguars to invest a little bit in that position somewhere in the draft. They neglected to do so, but they did find a seventh-round fullback that indicates they may look to go with a fair amount of 20 personnel -- three receivers and two backs in the I-formation. It also seemed like they would add more than one offensive lineman and a quarterback to compete for playing time if they didn’t approve Bortles’ fifth-year option.
