2. Antonio Gates, San Diego Chargers (2006)

Three years prior, Gates -- at the prime age of 26 -- posted an AV of 14 for the first of two instances in his career. With just 7.7 yards per target and a catch rate of 59.2%, Gates' efficiency was a little lacking, but he still posted 9 touchdowns on top of 71 catches and 924 yards.
