3 FanDuel Defenses to Target in Week 12

Projections: 15.63 points allowed, 2.77 sacks, 2.40 turnovers, 0.30 touchdowns

The Cincinnati D/ST is the fourth-ranked defense in our projections this week, yet their $4,300 FanDuel salary suggests that they are not a top option. Vegas is on the same page as FanDuel as the Bengals are 4.5-point underdogs, and their opponent, the Ravens, are implied to score 22.5 points.

But our projections view this matchup very differently -- we project the Bengals to allow just 15.63 points, which is the lowest total of the weekend and way off from the Ravens’ 22.5 implied total from Vegas lines. We also project Cincy in the top five in the sacks and turnovers categories, so we’re expecting a monster performance.

No defense has scored more than 8.0 FanDuel points against Baltimore this season, but those numbers are a bit skewed. The Ravens have faced six opponents in the bottom 10 of FanDuel scoring, with just one matchup coming against a top-10 opponent (Buffalo).

The Bengals have a season-low FanDuel salary, and we know they won’t be highly owned because of their Vegas implications. Since our projections say everyone else is overlooking them this weekend, they are an elite GPP play.
