3 Daily Fantasy Football Players to Avoid in Week 11
Cameron Brate, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
FanDuel Price: $5,600
Cameron Brate has been a solid fantasy producer this year, especially here lately. Brate has seen at least five targets in each of the past three weeks, and he has found the end zone once in each of those three games. However, Brate has a brutal road matchup this week against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Simply put: Kansas City has smothered tight ends this season. No tight end facing the Chiefs has been been better than the TE15 in weekly scoring, and Kansas City is allowing the fourth-fewest points to tight ends.
Volume can overcome a lot in fantasy, but even though Brate has basically become Jameis Winston's No. 2 option, he's not a good play this week.
At close to the same price as Brate are Julius Thomas (at Detroit) and Zach Miller (at the New York Giants), both of whom should see good volume in far better matchups.
